Some stories in my photography journey feel like chapters in a beautiful book, and this incredible mom’s story is one of them. I first photographed her when she was expecting her second baby, capturing her maternity session in the breathtaking fall scenery of Bear Mountain NJ. Back then, I was still living in Jersey City, and that location was my go-to spot for dreamy, golden-hour sessions. At the time, her firstborn was still a little girl, and seeing her family grow over the years has been an absolute privilege.

Fast forward to now—she reached out to tell me she was expecting baby number five! What a blessing. I won’t lie; I felt a little nervous going into this session. A teenager, three boys, and a glowing mama-to-be? I braced myself for the beautiful chaos that could unfold. But to my surprise, this session was nothing short of magical.

I walked in with lowered expectations, and they completely exceeded them. These kids are a dream—kind, well-mannered, full of energy yet so cooperative. And their mama? She looks like a supermodel. Seriously, how does she do it? Raising such beautiful souls with so much grace is inspiring.
