It all started months earlier when I first met Kyle, a Dumont local who reached out to book a professional headshot session for his business. As a photographer based near Dumont, I don’t often see many local inquiries come through, so his message instantly made me smile. Working with people from my own community always feels special, and meeting Kyle was no exception.

Our session flowed effortlessly. We talked, we laughed, and we created clean, polished, modern headshots that represented exactly what he needed. Kyle walked away with updated photos that elevated his brand — and I walked away grateful for the connection.

What I didn’t know at the time was that our story wasn’t over yet.

A couple of months after his session, Kyle reached out again. This time, he wanted to surprise his wife, Jasmin, with a fantasy-themed birthday photoshoot. And ohhhh boy… we had SO much fun with this one.

The moment Jasmin stepped into the studio, I knew this was going to be something special. She arrived looking sweet, soft, and angelic — the picture of innocence — but the creative energy was buzzing. As a writer, blogger, and owner of an amazing YouTube channel, she already lives in a world filled with color, emotion, stories, and imagination. A fantasy birthday photoshoot suited her perfectly.
